In past years, MAMCCO has given the donation to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission to support their efforts.  This has meant thousands of dollars to help feed, shelter, and clothe our hurting neighbors in Milwaukee.  What a blessing is to have been able to support their mission!

MRM has been serving Milwaukee’s poor and homeless since 1893 when a group of local businessmen and community leaders founded the organization.  The MRM mission statement reads, “In response to the command of Jesus, we compassionately serve to help make whole the hungry, homeless and poor in body, mind and spirit for the glory of God.  ‘...to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter…’  Isaiah 58:7”

Milwaukee Rescue Mission provides:

  • Safe Harbor, a program for men.
  • Joy House, programs for women and children.
  • Crosstrainers Academy, which provides education for at-risk youth.

Our Mission

The Milwaukee Area Messiah Community Chorus and Orchestra, Inc. (“MAMCCO”) is a community ecumenical choir and orchestra formed for the purpose of enriching the lives of the residents of the Greater Milwaukee area by spreading God’s Word through music, including Handel’s Messiah.

MAMCCO is composed primarily of volunteers committed to learning and presenting great musical works, providing free opportunities for people to hear them, and providing the opportunity for people to respond to them by collecting a voluntary donation for a charity to be designated by MAMCCO.
